PFP Offers Social Media Training at DC Conference
This weekend marks the 10th Annual National Organizers Conference of the US Campaign to End the Israeli Occupation, and PFP will be there! This year, we're going to be offering a special hands-on workshop on social media skills:
Many individuals and organizations already use Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, and other applications for activism, but how can we take our efforts to the next level? Learn how to integrate campaigns, build your audience, measure your impact, address security issues, and avoid carpal tunnel! To derive maximum benefit from the workshop, please do brings your laptops and smartphones if you have them. The workshop will begin promptly at 11:15am this Sunday.
Because social media is a huge, important, and sometimes complicated subject, we're also offering free one-on-one coaching to conference participants. Sessions (15 or 30 minutes each) will be offered on both Saturday and sunday.
Reserve your session here, using another neat little application (Tungle.me) in the process!
Volunteers and Interns Needed!

The Palestine Freedom Project is now accepting applications for Fall, 2010 internships. This year, in addition to our regular internship program, we are pleased to offer a limited number of "Synergy Internships" in which participants may spend up to fifty percent of their hours working on tasks related to their own local campaigns. Interns may also choose a specific focus for their internship, such as BDS organizing, event planning, research, web development, or fundraising.
These positions offer the opportunity to gain valuable experience and acquire cutting edge organizing skills. Many of our interns have leveraged their experience with PFP to land prestigious positions at leading advocacy and humanitarian organizations. Learn more about volunteering or interning with PFP, and apply for internships online.
