Abraham Greenhouse

Abraham Greenhouse got his start in activism while a student at Rutgers University, then a hotbed of Palestine solidarity activism which drew national and international attention. He was an organizer with the Palestine Solidarity Movement for a number of years, helping to develop infrastructure to support the burgeoning campus divestment movement. He remains active at a local level as a member of Adalah-NY, whose ongoing boycott campaign against Israeli settlement builder Lev Leviev is widely considered to be one of the movement's most effective efforts to date. In addition to his organizing activities, Mr. Greenhouse is a professional online strategy and marketing consultant.

Mr. Greenhouse decided to combine his professional expertise with his experience as an organizer, founding the Palestine Freedom Project in an effort to provide Palestine solidarity activists with essential resources and training. His articles have appeared in a variety of publications, including the Arab-American News, Al-Majdal, and the Electronic Intifada. He has been interviewed by media outlets ranging from WBAI radio to the New York Times, and has presented workshops and training sessions on three continents.
