Brian Avery

Brian Avery is a professional musician and agriculturalist who has been active in progressive politics for many years. He has worked on urban renewal projects in Chicago and New Mexico, and has traveled and spoken widely as an advocate of Palestinian self-determination.

Mr. Avery is currently working on an agricultural research program at North Carolina State University in Raleigh, NC. He is also pursuing litigation against the State of Israel as a result from severe injuries sustained from Israeli Defense Force personnel while working as a human rights observer in Jenin, Palestine in 2003.
