Paul Larudee


Paul LarudeeDr. Paul Larudee is a former Fulbright-Hays lecturer to Lebanon and was a contracted U.S. government adviser to Saudi Arabia. He has been a volunteer with the International Solidarity Movement in the West Bank and with LebanonSolidarity in Lebanon. After being denied entry to Israel in June, 2006, he spoke in Lebanon and Jordan on the topic of international solidarity with the Palestinian nonviolent resistance movement. He returned to the U.S. just as the Israeli invasion of Lebanon was beginning but went to Lebanon again almost immediately to help support a nonviolent resistance movement there, to participate in solidarity actions and to witness and document the events. Dr. Larudee is prepared to speak about his experiences, the facts vs. myths of events in Lebanon and Palestine, and to present perspectives based upon 41 years of living in and visiting the region.
