Remi KanaziRemi Kanazi is a Palestinian-American poet, writer, editor, and activist living in New York City. He is the editor of the newly released anthology of poetry Poets For Palestine. Poets For Palestine is a unique collection of poetry, spoken word, hip hop, and Palestinian art. Unifying a diverse range of poets who have used their words to elevate the consciousness of humanity, this book aims to bridge a younger generation of poets with those who, for decades, have cultivated and strengthened the poetic medium. Remi is also the co-founder of www.PoeticInjustice.net. His political commentary, which primarily focuses on Palestine, has been featured in a multitude of print and online publications around the world. He recently appeared in the New York Arab American Comedy Festival and he is a frequent guest on numerous Al Jazeera English programs, including the media bias program the Listening Post.
